- Abstract

As a result of analyzing the mediating effect of depression on the effect of violence experience on turnover intention, it was analyzed that the experience of violence damage had a direct effect on turnover intention and had an indirect effect through depression.
The policy implications of these analysis results are as follows. First of all, the verbal violence experienced by social workers is experienced by 1/3 of the surveyed subjects, and it is found to have a negative effect on depression and willingness to leave, indicating the need for measures to reduce it. Second, workplace bullying also negatively affects depression and intention to turnover, so it is necessary to prepare legal and institutional supplementary devices for the safety of social workers to prevent social workers from being bullied by their bosses or colleagues at work.
