울산 지리정보 시스템

Abstract

지리정보 시스템은 수치화된 지리데이타를 화면으로 mapping시키고, 지리테이타와 그의 속성정보를 연계시킬 수 있는 초보적인 기능이 필요하다.

본 논문에서는 이러한 기능을 가진 지리정보 시스템을 구현하기 위한 방법을 제안하였다. 그리고 실제 울산시의 수치지도를 제작하고 업종별 전화번호부를 데이타베이스화하여 울산 지리정보 시스템을 구현하였다.

울산 지리정보 시스템은 수치화된 지번데이타와 업종별 전화번호부의 주소를 연계시켜, 질의된 해당 시설물이나 상호의 주소 위치를 지리테이타와 함께 화면으로 mapping시키는 지리정보 시스템의 응용 프로그램이다.

GIS(Geographic Information System) needs two fundamental functions : a mapping function which maps a vetorized geographic data to screen and a relating function which associates the geographic data with their attribute information.

This paper proposes a method to design the GIS which has the fundamental functions and implements an Ulsan GIS(UGIS). The UGIS consists of a vectorized Ulsan geographic data and a telephone database of business category.

The UGIS associates a lot number in the Ulsan geographic data with an address in the telephone database, and maps an address of major building or a name of business queried to screen with the Ulsan geographic data.
