웹 기반 가상현실 안내 시스템의 기초 구현

Abstract

본 논문에서는 인터넷에서 가상세계를 구현하는 표준 언어인 VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language)을 사용하여 가상 세계를 구축하고 이를 안내시스템에 적용하는 방법을 제시하였다. 이를 위해 먼저 VRML 규약에 대해서 고찰을 하고, VRML과 JavaScript를 이용한 웹 기반 가상 안내 시스템의 구현 방법에 대해 상세히 설명하였다. 그리고, 시스템의 구현을 통해 얻어낼 수 있는 효과와 구현 과정에 발생된 문제점과 개선방법 및 앞으로의 연구방향에 대해 기술하였다.

In this paper, we propose a method of implementing a virtual reality information desk using VRML and Internet. We review about VRML which can construct a virtual world on the Internet. Next, we explain a basic concept and implementation details of a web-based virtual reality information desk. VRML and JavaScript are used to implement the system. Finally, the advantages of the developed system and the future research directions are described also.
