- Abstract
- VRML(Virtual Reality Modeling Language )is a graphic modeling tool that is used for 3D representation and animation of objects through WWW (World Wide Web). Especially, VRML2.0 whose specifications were announced recently has excellent functions to model a virtual reality such as enhanced static worlds, interaction, animation, scripting, prototyping, etc. Through these capability of VRML2.0 code for demonstrating product shape, product configuration and assembly process. The VRML code generated can be used to provide a product information through any browser on WWW. Specifically three algorithms are presented: one for converting CAD to VRML, another for converting BOM to VRML and the other for generating animation VRML.
