- Abstract
Crystal structures and magnetic properties of Ni-(Al-Fe) alloys have been investigated and comprehensed with influence of second phase (ferromagnetic phase) for magnetic properties.
X-ray diffraction data revealed that specimens were single-phase in B2(CsCl) structure when x≤0.10, lattice parameter ∼2.89Å and showed second phase in FCC structure when x≥0.15 with constant lattice parameter, ∼3.64Å.
Magnetic measurements showed paramagnetism when x≤0.15, superparama-gnetism when 0.20≤x≤0.35 and ferromagnetism when x≥0.40.
The magnetic changes with composition(x) were analized of the percolation effect of ferromagnetic second phase.
