Abstract
本 論文은 內部 變形 에너지가 最小되도록 Ferguson parametric spline을 延長시키는 방법을 提案하고 있다.

또한 이 原理를 end condition을 選定하는데 適用하였는 바, Q-spline 방법이 가장 自然스런 形態의 spline을 形成할 수 있었다.
This paper suggests that Ferguson parametric splines are extended by the way such that their internal strain energies keep minimum.

Also with employing this way, it is found that Q-spline method can get the spline to be extended most naturally among several end-condition methods for constructing splines.
