A Study on the Skin Resistance of the Steel Piles
Abstract
말뚝 기초를 갖는 구조물의 설계시 말뚝의 마찰지지력은 가장 중요한 설계인자의 하나이다.

본 논문은 모래의 밀도와 말뚝의 직경과 길이의 비에 따르는 말뚝의 마찰지지력의 변화에 대하여 다루었다.

분석 결과 마찰지지력은 모래의 밀도의 증가에 따라 선형적으로 증가함을 알 수 있었으며, 한강 하류부에서 채취한 모래에 대해 마찰지지력을 구하는 경험식을 제안하였다.
In the design of drilled shaft foundations for certain classes of structures, the skin resistance of the shaft is an important design factor. This paper considers the variations of skin resistance due to the length-diameter ratio of the steel piles and the densification of the sand. Results of the analysis show that the skin resistances are increased linearly as the sand densities increase. And an empirical equation to predict the skin resistance of the piles in sand which is obtained from the downstream of the Han river is developed.
