기호학적 입장에서 본 탈춤의 연극성

Abstract

이글은 Tadeusz Kowzan과 Erika Fisher-Lichte의 이론을 원용하여 탈춤의 연극성을 규명한 작업이다. 언어/춤, 언어/상활, 언어/제스츄어 등 여극 기초간의 대립적 양상에 의해 탈춤의 골계적 비극성이 드러나는 것으로 파악하였다. 이 독특한 연극성이 현대의 마당극에도 적용되어야 비로서 새로운 한국 연극의 기틀을 마련할 수 있을 것이라고 판단된다.
