메트릭스 方式에 의한 한글 印書裝置의 開發에 關한 硏究

Abstract

메트릭스형 프린터에 적합한 세 가지 유형의 한글 印書 方案이 提案되었으며, 그 중 가장 경제적이고 단순한 방법이 試驗案으로 선택되어 實用 段階까지 開發되었다. 提案된 三個案은 모두 特長이 있어서 그의 선택은 목적과 조건에 따라 정하여질 것이다. 試驗案에서 使用된 字型의 수는 53個, 한 音節의 메트릭스 크기는 半段(half step)형을 포함하여 12×18로 하였으며, 終聲 및 수평모음에 대하여 半字 수평이동 方式을 채용함으로서 만족할만한 印書 結果를 얻었다.

Three possible methods appropriate for printing Korean Character (Hangeul) by matrix printers are studied. Although each methods has its own merit, one method is considered to be simplest and more economical than the other two and its application has been investigated up to practical level. The number of character fonts adopted in the experiment was 53 and the size of matrix for one Hangeul syllable was 12×18 including half step columns. In order to give bettr appearances to the combined characters, half-character shift method was employed for the final consonants and the horizontal vowels. The printed output was acceptabley good
