톨루엔, 염화벤질, 염화벤잘을 분리하기 위한 증류탑의 설계

Abstract

염화벤질을 미반응물인 톨루엔, 부산물인 염화벤잘로부터 분리하기 위해 두 개의 증류탑이 설계되었다. 첫 번째탑의 유출액으로 톨루엔이 회수되고, 탑저로 나온 염화벤질, 염화벤잘은 두 번째탑으로 보내어져 염화벤질이 이 탑의 유출액이 된다.

Two distillation columns were designed to separate benzyl chloride from unreacted toluene and by-product benzal chloride. Toluene is recycled to a reactor as distllate of the first column and bottom product consisting primarily of benzyl chloride and benzal chloride is fed to the second column, whose distillate is benzyl chloride.
