Abstract
The human enteroviruses (EVs) are responsible for various infections ranging in severity from asymptomatic to fatal. Since the clinical diagnosis of EV infection is complicated by the nonspecific nature of the clinical manifestations, accurate and rapid microbiological diagnosis of EV infection is very important for the management of patients.
