아산 정신의 동아시아적 배경과 미래 전망 ｢화식열전(貨殖列傳)｣속 상인 정신의 현재적 현현(顯現)으로서의 아산(峨山) 정주영(鄭周永)

Abstract

본 고는 동아시아 상인 정신의 원형(原型)을 살펴 볼 수 있는 ｢화식열전｣ 속 상인들의 삶과 정신을 아산 정신과의 연관 속에서 살펴보고, 동아시아 전통 상인 정신의 현재적 현현으로서의 아산 정신을 재조명해 보았다. 이를 위해 본고는 사마천이 ｢화식열전｣과 ｢평준서｣에 소개한 여러 인물 중 아산의 삶과 견주어 볼만한 ‘탁씨’·‘범려’·‘복식’을 택하여 그들 각각의 삶과 아산의 삶에서 공통적으로 발견할 수 있는 태도를, '위기를 기회로 만드는 불굴의 정신’·‘부(富)를 나누는 베품(仁)의 정신'·‘사익(私益)을 넘은 보국(輔國)의 정신'으로 요약하여 비교 검토했다. 분석과정에서 동아시아 전통 상인의 생각과 삶이 아산의 삶과 정신 속에 더욱 확대되고 심화된 현태로 발현되고 있음을 확인할 수 있었다. 도전과 창조의 기업가 정신이 점점 사라지고 있는 지금, 그리고 기업의 사회적 책임과 공공성이 점점 더 강조되고 있는 지금, 동아시아 상인의 전통 속에서 도출한 이 세 정신은 비록 과거의 인물로부터 추출해 낸 것이긴 하지만 더 나은 현재와 더욱 밝은 미래에의 전망을 위해서 우리 기업가들에게 긴급하고 절실히 요청되는 것들이라 하곘다. This paper looked at the life and spirit of merchants in Huo Zi Lie Zhuan(Biographies of Merchants and Artisans) in which we can look at a prototype(原型) in the spirit of the East Asian merchants, in the connection with Asan's Spirit. And tried to review Asan's Spirit as the present manifestation of the East asian traditional merchants' spirit. To this end, I choose Mr.Zhuo卓氏·Fanli范蠡·Bushi卜式 among merchants in Huo Zi Lie Zhuan and compared and weighed the life of each of them with the life of Asan in terms of three aspects: 'Indomitable spirit to create a crisis into an opportunity', 'Giving spirit of sharing the wealth', 'Patriotic spirit beyond private interest'. In the analysis, I was able to verify that thought and life of the East Asian traditional merchants is making itself felt in a more expanded and deepened form in the lives and minds of Asan. The entrepreneurial spirit of challenge and creativity in a disappearing now, and the publicity and social responsibility of corporate is more and more emphasis now, this three mind was derived from the traditions of the East Asian merchants, though extracted from past figures, It is even more urgent called in to our entrepreneurs for a brighter future and the prospect.
