Carbon Dot Supported Bimetallic Nanocomposite for the Hydrogen Evolution Reaction

Metadata Downloads
Abstract
The design of non-noble metal-based nanocomposites for the evolution of hydrogen gas in energy conversion devices is important ongoing research. In this study, carbon dot (CD) based bi-metallic hydroxide nanocomposites were synthesized for the electrocatalytic hydrogen evolution reaction. A series of nickel-cobalt double hydroxide nanocomposites were synthesized using a CD support. The structural features of the nanoparticles were analyzed through proper microscopic studies.
