A Study on the Recovery of Valuable Metals with Copper Slag
Abstract

A, A, ICP, XRD, SEM-EDX, SEM-WDX
The recovery of valuable metals was studied with copper slag.

It was obtained the most Cu and Ni recovery when 5% carbon added to slag at 1573K by carbothermic reduction. But, carbon addition and increase of temperature has no effect on the recovery of chromium. Also, Cu and Ni recovery was very increased when 5% CaO added to 5% carbon.

These results were investigated with A. A, ICP, XRD, SEM-EDX, SEM-WDX and wet chemical analysis etc.. In this study we can get the most recovery after 4hours reaction in copper slag.
