Abstract
본 논문은 LMDS(Local Multipoint Distribution Service) 수신용의 안테나를 마이크로스트립 배열을 이용하여 설계 및 제작하였다. LMDS는 무선 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하며, 24∼27GHz대의 주파수를 사용하였다.

높은 이득과 낮은 부엽준위를 위해 안테나는 64개의 소자를 Chebyshev 다항식을 응용한 병렬 구조로써 배열시켰으며, 배열 소자간의 거리는 이득, 대역폭 및 안테나 크기 등을 고려하여 0.68λ로 정하였다. 설계된 안테나의 이득은 23.5dBi이고, 대역폭은 약 1.2GHz이고, 중심 주파수 24.96GHz에서 return loss가 -29.15dB이다.
In this paper, a microstrip array antenna for receiving LMDS(Local Multipoint Distribution Service) is designed and fabricated. LMDS uses 24∼27GHz microwave frequencies to send and receive broadband signals.

In order to high gain and low side lobe level, the array is composed of 8×8 array elements with a corporate feeding network using Chebyshev method. The distance between each the radiators is chosen as 0.68λ in consideration of gain, bandwidth, beamwidth and antenna size. Designed antenna has 23.4dBi gain, 24.96GHz center frequency, -29.15dB return loss and 1.2GHz bandwidth.
