經濟學 方法論에 關한 小考

Abstract

本考는 經濟學 方法論을 主로 學派를 中心으로 살펴보고 있다. 方法論이란 대체로 學問하는 技法的節次를 뜻하나 어떤 경우에는 單純히 方法이라는 意味로 쓰이기도 한다. 그러나 本考에서는 좀 더 넓은 意味로 解釋하여 槪念의 探究, 理論, 그리고 主題를 파악하기 위한 論法의 基本原理등을 뜻하는 것으로 하였다.

또한 社會科學으로서의 經濟學을 理解하기 위해 社會科學의 成立過程과 그 科學性에 대해 살펴보았다.

經濟學에 있어서 方法論에 關한 論議가 活潑하지 못한 데 이에 本考는 앞으로의 方法論 論議에 있어 토태를 마련키 위해 試圖한 것이며, 대체로 이제까지의 經濟學에서 授用하고 있는 分析方法은 數量的 客觀的 物質的인 分析方法이었다고 할 수 있는데 우리가 經驗하는 經濟社會는 그와 같은 分析만으로는 不可能한 경우가 많은 것이다. 이에 最近에 論議되고 이는 主觀主義的 方法論의 채택이 앞으로의 課題가 되리라고 믿는다.

This thesis is to examine the methodology of economics. The term methodology is generally taken to mean the technical procedure of a discipline, sometimes being a more impressive-sounding synonym for methods. But in this thesis it denotes an investigation of the concepts, theories, and basic principles of reasoning of a subject with wider sense of the term.

And the historical development of the social sciences and the scientific nature of the social sciences are also examined to understand the economics as a social science.

In economics discussions on the methodology is not prevalent, so this thesis is provided for the basis of further discussion.

On the whole analyzing method used in economics is quantitative, objective, and physical. More frequently, it is impossible to analyze the facts of economic society with those methods.

So I believe it the task for us to adapt the subjective methodology which is prevalent in other disciplines
